The master has a new King bed and bathroom with walk in shower, while the guest room has another queen bed and a private bathroom with shower/ tub. Both bedrooms are completely private and separated with doors for plenty of comfort space. This remodeled and beautifully decorated unit also features a in-unit washer/dryer, free wireless Internet, dvd, cable, a well equipped kitchen with all you need to feel at home, beach chairs, umbrella & towels, binoculars for whale watching(when in season), cooler for your excursions, and upgraded towels and sheets.

Island Sands Complex

I can't say enough good things about this place! The double lanai was such a treat and the sea turtles were visible every day, it was so special. The beds were very comfortable and the whole process was very smooth. Will definitely look to stay at Island Sands on my next vacation to Maui.

The condo is centrally located for everyday activities and there are plenty of excursions that can be booked that leave out of Maalaea Harbor. It's a short walk that you can do along the bay. The view of the condo was fantastic as it looks straight out over the bay. As it was early March that we visited the view from the lanai allowed us to observe the whales out in the bay.

This ocean view condo was a nice, peaceful stay for our group of 4. A perfect stay for a small family or two couples. The area is very quiet and relatively secluded, a little bit removed from popular tourist destinations, but conveniently located in that Lahaina, Kihei, and Kahului Airport are all just a quick 10-20 minute drive away. And compared to similar spots, we found this stay to be fairly priced. Would stay again!

The actual property exceeded what was shown in the photos. What sold us on the property was the first photo in the listing -- a magnificent south-facing view of the Pacific from the south shores of Maalaea. Watching the sunrise from the completely private lanai and actually seeing turtles feeding from the rocks at high tide were the highlights of our first morning after a late arrival at Maui. We were a short 20 minutes from our luau in South Wailea and 15 minutes from Kahului Airportshopping in Wailuku. We made multiple trips to Walmart, 7-Eleven, and Safeway; all were within 15 minutes. We were also ideally located for both the Road to Hana and sunrise at Haleakala. From the property, we managed to make it to the summit at Haleakala in about 70 minutes, far less than the two hours we had budgeted for the trip. One thing that was not mentioned (but we knew from personal research) is that the semi-private Haycraft Park Beach is a short walk down the street. That was a hidden gem.

Superior views of Haleakala and Maalaea Bay from the lanai! Sunrises, sunsets, whales breaching, and turtles at the sea wall entertained us every day. Peaceful location is central to so many other Maui things to do (such as a 3min walk to the Maui Ocean Center or dining at one of the harbor restaurants). Condo is exceptionally clean as well as tastefully decorated with everything needed for a great stay. Parking is reserved and many amenities are available on the property (pool, grills). Finally, IGoMaui is a platinum-level host, especially Amy whose professionalism & responsiveness throughout was simply stellar!, attending to every detail for an outstanding vacation experience!!! We look forward to a return visit!
